Under Dr. Burgee’s leadership as Superintendent of FCPS, our school system received national recognition from Forbes magazine for providing a high quality education at a low cost to taxpayers. In the past year, Dr. Burgee has also been instrumental in founding the Frederick County Business Roundtable for Education, helping to link the business and education communities and ensure a positive future for workforce development in Frederick County.
