An Executive’s Introduction to People, Places, and Possibilities in Frederick County

LFC: EXECUTIVE CONNECTIONS is an engaging and dynamic showcase of what makes Frederick County a wonderful place to live, work, and play. It is a quick, convenient, and affordable tool to help executives acquire the broad perspective and contacts needed to excel in Frederick County. We will show you what the county has to offer to help you feel at home. In one evening and one day we will introduce you to the social, economic and political history of Frederick County; the current political climate and trends; the players and projects spurring Frederick’s revitalization; economic development and employment; transportation, education, healthcare, public safety, the arts and much more.

In one evening and one day, you will get the "lay of the land" and make the contacts you need to operate more effectively, and become more familiar with your new home. We offer a selective, intimate environment that allows participants and their spouses to interact on a meaningful level. Although the group size is limited to ensure the quality of the experience, the networking opportunities are unlimited. Those who complete LFC: EXECUTIVE CONNECTIONS become part of the Leadership Frederick County network of 600 community and business leaders.

LFC: EXECUTIVE CONNECTIONS

Leadership Frederick County, an educational community leadership program of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, is now conducting registration for LFC: EXECUTIVE CONNECTIONS. The program begins Monday evening, October 29, 2007, from 5:45 to 8:30pm, with a reception and dinner with business and government leaders at Dutch’s Daughter, and a history presentation. The program continues at 7:45am on Tuesday, October 30, with a full day of tours, speakers, and opportunities, concluding at 5:30pm. Spouses are invited. A discount is available for multiple participants from the same organization. Cost is $450 for CEO only, or $500 with spouse (and discounted rate is $350 for additional participants from an organization).
