FREDERICK COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
In the spirit of goal setting for the new year, we have a few of our own to share and every single one of them is about YOU!
In 2018, we sent out a member survey to assess our effectiveness and learn more about what your expectations of us as your county chamber of commerce.
We aren’t the kind of people that like to send out surveys just to be sending out surveys. We’re the kind of people who like to send out surveys so we can figure out what we’re doing well, what we need to be better at, and what we should do about it.
Basically, we listen.
Here’s what we heard you say:
We know everyone has different priorities—things they want or need to support their personal business goals, but we also know that we want to offer support, education, training, events, and growth opportunities to as many of our members as possible.
So we’re working on it.
We’re designing new programs, planning different events, and ramping up our social media and content production to allow you to stay informed, and feel supported in ways you may not have in the past.
Here’s what you can expect from us in 2019:
We are already working hard behind the scenes on all of these new initiatives, but we also need your help to make them successful. And, when we say help, we really just mean that we want to hear from you.
If you have an exciting story to tell about your business, we want to hear it and share it with our membership on our site and via our social channels. You can submit your member news here: Share your news and events
If you want to be featured in 2019, we would love to have you fill one of our slots (they are filling up quickly, so hurry!). To get your business considered for a feature, email Amanda at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also be featured by inviting us out for a visit to experience what you do or answering one of our newsletter questions. You can email Amanda your responses or reach out to her to chat about a visit: email@example.com.
Finally, are you kind of a big deal in your field? An expert at what you do? Then we would love to hear from you to talk about how you can be involved in a workshop or seminar for our members. We even have opportunities to participate in events in creative ways (bring your talent to an event for our members to try) and are always eager to welcome guest posts for our blog. You can email Amanda about that too.
