THE FREDERICK NONPROFIT

ALLIANCE

The Frederick Nonprofit Alliance provides tools, resources and advocacy to enable Frederick County nonprofit organizations to efficiently and effectively serve the needs and enrich the lives of residents throughout all of Frederick County.

Nonprofits are a critical sector of Frederick County’s business community, and in fact represent the largest business sector of Chamber membership. Chamber members in the nonprofit sector voice their interests, needs and concerns through the Frederick Nonprofit Alliance. More than 112 local nonprofit organizations are Chamber members.

The Frederick Nonprofit Alliance is a vehicle for nonprofits to work together as a unified force in the community, enlightening local business, government and political leaders about the economic value of nonprofits in Frederick County. Nonprofit organizations working together with a unified voice help leverage decision making that impacts all of us.

If you are a nonprofit member of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, you are also a member of the Frederick Nonprofit Alliance.

"Being a member of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce has introduced me to business leaders throughout the county, which as the CEO of a nonprofit organization is critical.  Spreading the word about your organization and its mission is important for any nonprofit who relies on their community for support and with Chamber events happening all the time, I have the opportunity to do just that. In a broader sense, Chamber membership allows me to support nonprofits across the county,  which in the end makes Frederick a better place to live." - Michael Planz, CEO, Community Living, Inc.
