How to Promote Your Events

We're thrilled to be able to feature our member's events on our community calendar! Once your event is published, we will feature it on our Insight's news portal as well! Here are the steps you go through to get your event published:
  • Log in to the Members Only portal using your username and password. If you need help locating that, contact Kaitlyn Walsh.
  • Select 'submit an event' in the black box above your member name.
  • Fill out the entire form and submit the event.
A Chamber representative will review your event for accuracy and appropriateness and then publish it to the calendar!

How to Submit Your News

We love to celebrate our member's accomplishments! Submit your accomplishments to be featured in our email newsletter and Insights news platform.
​Guidelines:
  • News must be beyond the normal course of business.
  • News must be one paragraph in length. 
  • Please do not submit events, new hires, new contracts, advertising, special promotions, sales, calls for sponsorships, trustees, or direct monetary donations.
The Chamber reserves the right to edit or not include your submission.

How to Submit Your Promotions

 
We’re proud to announce a new benefit to our members that will allow for expanded promotional opportunities! Support Local Frederick (formerly Shop Local Frederick) on Facebook is a space dedicated to supporting and promoting our member businesses and nonprofits by sharing their news, events, sales, fundraising and volunteering needs.

Submission can be done in two ways:
  1. Share a post from your organization's page on to the Support Local page.
  2. Send a message to the Support Local page with a link to the post you would like shared.

Note: Posts must be from your business Facebook page, not something from an individual's personal page.

Advertising Opportunities

Advertising is a crucial tool to help build brand awareness and impact your bottom line. The Chamber offers low-cost advertising as an exclusive member benefit. Our rates are designed to be affordable for any size business or organization.

E-News Advertising
The Chamber’s weekly e-newsletter, sent every Monday, allows your ad to land in more than 5,700 inboxes of active business and community members.
Advertorial: 
$150 per ad per week (maximum two available ads per newsletter)
Advertorial with Facebook companion post: $175 (maximum two available ads per newsletter)
Advertising Block Standard Rate: $50 per week (artwork supplied) or $75 artwork designed by Chamber (maximum three available per newsletter)

Website Advertising
The Chamber’s online news portal, Frederick Chamber Insights, can help put your business on the map at a very affordable rate!
Rate: $100 per month

Advertising in Chamber communications is a members-only benefit. Contact Jennifer Gerlock for more information or to secure your ads.
