2025 SHERO AWARDS

Every single day, in ways both small and significant, the women of Frederick County serve as extraordinary examples of strength, courage, kindness, compassion and perseverance.

The SHERO Awards were established to celebrate and shine a light on individuals who are making an impact by triumphing over adversity, demonstrating extraordinary care for others or leading change in our community.

Nominations are now closed.

The EQUALITY Award honors an individual or group (of any gender) who has contributed to advancing fairness and inclusion in the community. This award recognizes efforts that support equal opportunity, remove barriers to participation, and foster respectful engagement across differences.
