Get excited! S.H.E. Week 2022 will unpack the power and potential of women by igniting minds, careers and lives. This impactful week includes a diverse range of in-person activities from inspiring keynote speakers and hands-on workshops, to the S.H.E. Pitch competition, SHERO Awards, and more! 

Join us August 22 - 26 as we Ignite your career, your power and your impact! This week is for those focused on accelerating professionally and personally, all attendees will be treated to:

• ​​Inspiration and motivation from local and regional leaders who share their stories of professional and personal development
• Wisdom and expertise from CEOs, founders and community leaders offering advice and actionable ideas to help keep you moving forward
• In-person network opportunities as well as an ongoing connection with an active community of women empowering women both during S.H.E. Week and beyond
• A live pitch competition for female CEOs in Frederick County awarding them cash prizes, publicity and opportunity
• A special ceremony recognizing the SHEROS in our community who’ve demonstrated strength, heart and equality during the year

S.H.E. Week kicks off with an inspirational conference day at the Arc at Market Street. From the morning welcome to the final sendoff, the day will be filled with inspiration, motivation and coaching from female leaders throughout the region. There will be coaches, keynote speakers, networking opportunities, workshops and panel discussions. There’s nothing better than starting the week off by learning how to ignite ourselves from the inside out.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24 | 5:30PM | HOOD COLLEGE HODSON AUDITORIUM IN ROSENSTOCK HALL

Ever wanted to watch a Shark Tank pitch in real time? Or get the inside scoop on new business and expansions? Now’s your chance! Seven finalists from the S.H.E. Pitch competition will be pitching their businesses to a panel of judges and a live audience on Wednesday, August 24th.

​These finalists have gone through a rigorous amount of time to nail down their perfect pitch. You don’t want to miss out on seeing the competition! Winners will be awarded over $10,000 in prizes that evening. And YOU get the chance to cast a vote for the People’s Choice Award.

There’s nothing better than ending the week with celebration and networking. Join us at the beautiful Catoctin Hall at Musket Ridge where we’ll announce the 2022 SHERO Award winners. Catoctin Hall provides the perfect backdrop for a final evening of networking to finish out the week. Take this time to connect with all of the inspiring women you've met, engage in some fun activities at the venue and process all of the great information and happenings of the week.

S.H.E. Week is a signature event of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce's Women in Business Committee. S.H.E. Week centers around Women's Equality Day (August 26th) and is ​a week of events celebrating the Strength, Heart and Equality of women in Frederick County. 

The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce partners with a number of nonprofits in the community to reduce barriers and provide attendance opportunities for S.H.E. Week programming.
